Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay (referred as Pagpag) is a 2013 Filipino horror and suspense film directed by Frasco S. Mortiz.[2] The film was released on December 25, 2013 at the Metro Manila Film Festival and stars Daniel Padilla in his horror movie debut.The movie follows a group of teenagers that are terrorized by an evil spirit.

The film revolves around the traditional Filipino belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits or the deceased to one's home.[6] One should first shake off (in Filipino, pagpág) whatever curse there may be to avoid being trailed by the soul of the dead.
