Klai is a resident witch doctor at an obscure village in the Thai countryside. He's been treating the villagers with traditional remedies with the reluctant help from his wife and daughter. However, a group of doctors has come to the village and introducing modern medicine. Klai is losing the respect and recognition from the villagers and he decides to perform a dark magic ritual invoking the phi pob undead to assist him. But things don't quite go according to plan.
