In one of the more lamentable cases of cinematic carelessness, Million Films, the distributor of this highly acclaimed pinku eiga film from talented director Banmei Takahashi, apparently allowed every single copy (including the master negative) to be destroyed. The award-winning film apparently dealt with a love triangle among a woman and two yakuza gangsters. Noted for a scene in which one of the gangsters is stabbed and his girlfriend, who mistakes his agonized writhing for a dance and begins to imitate him, the film hardly sounds like the stuff of legend.
