Anak Dalita, a dramatic movie directed by Lamberto V. Avellana and released in 1956 by LVN Pictures. The movie was different from the usual melodramas of LVN in that it employed Cinema Verite, Filipino-style. Filmed in black and white, the film is about the slum-dwellers of Intramuros, then being ejected from their homes. The supposed clean-up attracts the attention of a religious order, who, in the process of intercession, complicates the situation further.
